The 23-year-old arrives from Irish club Old Wesley and joins the squad after already beginning training with his new team-mates.
Jamie Clark Signs For Newcastle Red Bulls
Clark joins Newcastle on a short-term deal as the club looks to strengthen its front-row options during the run-in.
The loosehead comes in with experience from Australia’s age-grade system and now gets his first chance in a professional club environment in England.
Australia Under-20 Prop Brings Development Potential
Clark came through the New South Wales Waratahs academy and represented Australia Under-20s at the Junior World Championship.
He is also English-qualified through his father, adding another layer to his long-term eligibility profile.
The prop described the move as a major opportunity and said he is determined to learn from the players and coaches around him while making the most of his time at the club.
“I’m here until the end of the season, and I’m just keen to make the most of the opportunity,” said Clark, who has already started training with his new team-mates," he told the club's official website.
“Being in an environment like this and learning from all the players and coaches around me, it’ll be a great experience and I’m determined to make the most of it.
“I’m super-excited about the whole thing, and it’s always been a dream to go into that pro rugby environment and test myself.”
