Gloucester's Premiership fixture against Newcastle Falcons moved to 7pm

The 14th round Gallagher Premiership fixture between Gloucester Rugby and Newcastle Falcons has been delayed until 7pm due to adverse weather conditions.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday at 3pm but high winds in the North East has delayed the proceedings.

"Fans are advised that due to adverse weather conditions, today’s game will be going ahead but with a delayed start time of 7pm to ensure the safety of spectators, players and staff," read a statement from Newcastle Falcons.

"Hospitality will be open from 4pm.

"Further details will be issued throughout the day."

Newcastle Falcons are positioned 9th in the Gallagher Premiership table with five wins from 12 matches while Gloucester are at fourth after managing seven victories from 12 games.

Widely regarded as the most competitive rugby union league in the world...it can only be the Gallagher Premiership.
