Ireland will miss the services of Jordan Lamour for the end of the year series following a foot injury.

Lamour sustained the blow during Leinster's recently concluded game for Leinster in the victory over Sharks.

According to Leinster head coach Leo Cullen, the 25-year-old is expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks which effectively rules him out of Ireland's Autumn Internationals.

“I’d say he’s going to be gone for a few weeks,” said Cullen after the game.

“We’ll clarify that exactly over the next couple of days but I’d imagine he’ll be gone for six-ish weeks I’d suggest.

“He’s unlucky. That’s unfortunately the name of the game at times.

"Everyone goes through those sticky patches in careers, it’s a very physical game, the South Africans just bring a different edge.”

Ireland will be facing South Africa, Fiji and Australia on 5th, 12th and 19th November respectively with the Aviva Stadium hosting all the three matches.
