Exeter Chiefs have announced the signing of Australian international Scott Sio ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Sio spent most of his rugby career with Brumbies in 2012 and has featured for them in 71 games spread across 11 seasons. He also represented Australia under 20 at the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship.
The 30-year-old made his Test debut in 2013 and has featured in 71 games and was part of the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cup campaigns.
“I’m super excited about the move,” he said.
“It’s something new, something fresh and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
"I’ve spoken to a few boys about the club and all of them have talked it up and said it’s a great place to go and play rugby.
“Having been at the Brumbies for so long, it’s going to be a different challenge of course, but it’s one that I feel I need.
"I’ve played over in England and Europe before at Test level, but having that weekly challenge is going to be something new.”
