See the latest action from England’s training camp and hear from head coach Stuart Lancaster and Dylan Hartley ahead of their Calcutta Cup clash at Murrayfield on Saturday.

After the heartbreak of last Saturday’s narrow defeat to the French in Paris, Lancaster has named an unchanged team to tackle the Scottish.

Also, Scotland looked disappointing in their 28-6 defeat to Ireland in Dublin, and therefore, both sides are grave need of a victory if they are to keep their title hopes alive.

After the last-gasp defeat in Paris, Lancaster and the England set-up were heavily criticised for the use of substitutes in the game; however, mid-week the England coach maintained that the changes were justified.

Only prop Henry Thomas remained on the bench at the final whistle of a chaotic but thrilling Paris showdown with the 62nd minute departure of outstanding scrum-half Danny Care attracting greatest scrutiny.

Hear from the man himself from England’s training camp.

Sir Clive Woodward, one of Lancaster's predecessors as England head coach, blamed the replacement strategy for the defeat.

"The substitutions cost England the game and that responsibility falls on the management not the players," Woodward told the Daily Mail.

"There were fundamental coaching errors, the players did not deserve it and it is time to wise up."

The same question is presented to experienced hooker Dylan Hartley, who maintains his confidence in the side and the importance of their game at the weekend.

England are hoping to avoid a third successive Test defeat when they face Scotland having lost to France and 30-22 to New Zealand in the autumn.

In both defeats they overcame imposing early deficits only to fall short with stirring fightbacks founded on character.

But they depart for Edinburgh on Thursday night knowing that another loss would end any chance of supplanting Wales as Six Nations champions.

Scotland have not prevailed in the fixture since winning 15-9 at Murrayfield in 2008, although the rivals fought out a 15-15 draw at the same venue four years ago.

Lancaster's reign opened with a dour 13-6 victory against Scotland in 2012.
