Edinburgh have announced that assistant coaches trio Stevie Lawrie, Michael Todd and Rob Chrystie have signed contract extensions with the club.

The decision follows after head coach Sean Everitt also signed a two-year contract extension last month.

Forwards coach Lawrie joined Edinburgh ahead of the 2019/20 season having played for the club across two spells in 2005-09 and 2011-14 seasons.

Todd joined the backroom staff of Edinburgh ahead of the 2022/23 season from Queensland Reds while Chrystie stepped up to role of Assistant Skills and Attack Coach ahead of the current campaign.

“I’m absolutely delighted to see our assistant coaches join me in extending terms with Edinburgh Rugby for another two years," said Edinburgh Rugby Head Coach Everitt.

“The support I’ve received from all three guys since joining the club has been brilliant. They’ve made me feel welcome from the second I walked in the door.

“They are all excellent coaches who continue to grow and develop in their own areas. Their drive to succeed and attention to detail is second to none, while they all care passionately about the success of this club moving forward.

“I’m really excited about our future together as a coaching group and what we can achieve with this squad.”

Edinburgh head coach Everitt is delighted with Lawrie, Todd and Chrystie staying committed to the club.
