Ireland captain Caelan Doris has been declared fit and available for Saturday’s clash with the New Zealand All Blacks in Chicago after recovering from a shoulder operation.

The Irish Rugby Football Union confirmed that the number 8, who underwent surgery in May and has been sidelined since, is included in the 36-man squad and ready to return.

Alongside Doris, other members of coach Andy Farrell’s team reported full fitness.

Centres Robbie Henshaw (groin) and Bundee Aki (hip) are free from injury, while Jack Conan (knee), Craig Casey (hamstring), and Tommy O’Brien (back) have been cleared. Farrell thus has his full squad available for selection.

Ireland will name their match-day 23 on Thursday ahead of their first match of the autumn series against New Zealand.
