Bulls were crowned winners of Super Rugby Unlocked following their 21-5 win over Pumas in the seventh and final round of the tournament at Loftus Versfeld.

Kurt-Lee Arendse scored the try in the 11th minute to start the proceedings for Bulls following which Chris Smith kicked the conversion to make it 7-0.

Bulls doubled their tally with a converted try from Smith in the 18th minute before Ivan van Zyl's touchdown ensured the finished the opening half with a 21-0 lead.

The only response from the Pumas came in the second half with a touchdown from Hendrik van Schoor as they went on to lose to the game with a 16-point margin.

The result took Bulls to 23 points in the table which proved enough as the game involving Stormers, who finish second against Sharks was cancelled. Cheetahs also finished the tournament with a 28-9 win over after beating Griquas.
