Bath Rugby have announced the signing of fly-half Billy Searle and versatile back Jamie Shillcock on short-term deals.

Both the players will head to the Recreation Ground after being part of Worcester recently. The Warriors were suspended for the remainder of the season after their financial collapse which saw the players and staff contracts terminated.

Searle started playing for Launceston in 2014 and went on to feature for Plymouth Albion, Bristol and Wasps before joining Worcester in 2020.

He has overall featured in 59 Premiership games till date scoring 216 points.

Meanwhile Shillock was part of Worcester since 2015 and made his debut at the age of 17. He has so far featured in 65 Premiership games scoring 182 points.

The 25-year-old also represented England Under 20 side in the 2016 Six Nations.

The duo will provide cover after Orlando Bailey (facial injury), Piers Francis (quad) and Tom de Glanville (hamstring) are sidelined with injuries.

Bath are positioned 12th in the Gallagher Premiership table after losing all their six matches.
