Argentina head coach Felipe Contepomi has made five changes to his starting team for Sunday’s test against Scotland at Murrayfield.
Notably, Juan Cruz Mallía and Juan Martín González will both reach their 50th caps. Mallía starts at fullback, Rodrigo Isgro at right wing and Matías Moroni at outside centre.
The forward changes include Pedro Rubiolo replacing Marcos Kremer in the second row and Santiago Grondona replacing Pablo Matera on the blindside flank.
The changes come on the back of a convincing 52-28 victory over Wales last weekend, Argentina’s biggest score against the Welsh.
Contepomi stressed the need to maintain momentum and adapt to Scotland’s physical challenge. The front-row of Mayco Vivas, Julian Montoya (captain) and Pedro Delgado remains unchanged, as does the half-back pairing of Gerónimo Prisciantelli and Simon Benítez Cruz.
