Kingsholm Stadium has been confirmed as the venue for the ongoing 2022/23 season of Allianz Premier 15s final.
The decision was taken after a tender process organised by the Rugby Football Union with the 10 clubs with the home of Gloucester appearing the front-runner.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the pinnacle of the women’s domestic league here at Kingsholm," said Gloucester chief executive Lance Bradley.
The sell-out Red Roses fixture here last year emphasised the demand for women’s rugby in Gloucestershire; we’re sure we’ll see a similar appetite for the Allianz Premier 15s final in June.
“Clearly Gloucester-Hartpury are having incredible success on the field but, we know that whoever makes it to Kingsholm for the final will enjoy brilliant support, such is the incredible rise of women’s rugby.”
The semi-finals will be played at the home of the top two-ranked sides on the weekend of (10/11 June 2023), before the final in Gloucester on 24/25 June 2023.
Exeter Chiefs are at the top of the Allianz Premier 15s table with 10 wins from 11 matches and are followed by Gloucester-Hartpury, Saracens and Harlequins at second, third and fourth respectively.
