Saracens have confirmed the inclusion of Mouritz Botha and Duncan Taylor in the coaching panel ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The decision follows after James Tirrell and Juan Figallo have moved into Transition Coaching roles with the men's team.

Former Scotland international Taylor has had a career spanning over a decade with Saracens and now has been assigned the role of Backs coach. He has featured for Saracens 169 times as a player between 2012 and 2023.

"I'm so happy to be back at Saracens," he told the club's official website.

"This club feels like home and I can't wait to join Mo as part of the women's coaching team.

"The squad is in a really strong position already and I'm excited to see what I can add to such a talented group."

Meanwhile, Botha assisted the women’s side towards the end of last season and has played for Saracens between 2009 and 2014. He also had represented Newcastle Falcons, Bedford Blues and Sharks while representing England in 10 Tests in 2011 and 2012.

"I am really excited to join Saracens Women. This is a very talented group of players and can’t wait to work with them. As a player I made some very special memories at the club and I’m looking forward to making more brilliant memories with this group."
