Connacht 15 - 17 Cardiff Blues, Galway

Willis Halaholo's 77th minute try followed by Jarrod Evans' match-winning conversion in windy conditions at the Galway Sportsgrounds helped Cardiff Blues earn their first win in the Pro14 2017-18 season with a 15-17 win against Connacht on Saturday.

The lead had changed hands four times before the Blues snatched it at the death.

For a second consecutive week, Connacht have handed their opponents a first win of the season.

Kieran Keane's men messed up the wind advantage in the first half by scoring just three points and handing a four-point advantage to the visitors.

After struggling in the first half, Connacht rallied themselves with a massive effort against the wind but messed up again in crunch moments. By failing to control the restart on the 75th minute, they allowed Halaholo to score the game-changing try followed by Evans' nerveless 'banana' conversion sealing the away win.

Darragh Leader (59) and Shane Delahunt (74) scored tries for the hosts while Halaholo (37, 77) scored a brace for the Welsh side.
