Leinster 37 - 9 Cardiff Blues, Dublin

A dominant second half performance from Leinster helped them beat Cardiff Blues 37-9 and secure their second bonus point victory in their Pro 14 encounter in Dublin on Friday.

Leinster now top Conference B with 10 points from two games while Blues are at bottom of Conference A after losing both their games until now.

After the first 14 minutes went without a point, Steve Shingler opened the account for the Blues with a 15th minute penalty following which Leinster suffered a setback through a sin bin to Isa Nacewa for performing a high tackle on Cardiff winger Alex Cuthbert in the 21st minute.

Shingler soon kicked his second penalty to take the visitors to six points lead but Leinster bounced back with a try from James Tracy while Ross Bryne kicked a conversion and a penalty to take the Irish side to 10-6 lead at half time.

Both Shingler and Bryne exchanged penalties at the start of the second half as Leinster maintained their three point lead but they completely shifted gears in the final 15 minutes which saw tries from Sean Cronin and Barry Daly.

Leinster's desperate search for a bonus point came with a touchdown from Nick McCarthy in the 75th minute as they completed a resounding 37-9 victory over Cardiff Blues at home.
