Bath Rugby have announced that England prop Will Stuart has signed a contract extension with the Gallagher Premiership club at least until the summer of 2026.
Stuart started his professional rugby career with Wasps in 2014 and represented Blackheath, Moseley and Nottingham on loan.
The 27-year-old made a switch to Bath in 2019 and has racked up 71 appearances for them. His contract was set to expire at the end of the ongoing season but now will remain with the club for another two years.
“I am really happy to be committing my future to the club for the next two years,," he told the club's official website.
"Bath Rugby has become my home and being surrounded by such a brilliant group of players, coaches, and support staff is what makes being here so special.
"We are at a stage where I believe the best is yet to come and that’s something I want to be a part of."
He made his England debut in 2020 and has been capped 33 times at the international level. He is also part of the England's Six Nations squad named by Steve Borthwick and also represented England at the victorious 2016 World Rugby Under 20 Championship.
“We are blessed to have brilliant tightheads at Bath Rugby," said Bath Head of Rugby Johann van Graan
".I am so glad ‘Stuey’ will be staying at Bath. He is an international prop and he’s formed such a good combination inside and outside of him. We are developing world-class props here at Bath Rugby and Will is a big part of our future.”
