The sixth round of the Gallagher Premiership saw Bristol seal the top position with a 20-7 win over Exeter Chiefs while Newcastle Falcons moved to second with a victory over Gloucester Rugby.
Exeter's second successive defeat saw them slip down to third place while Sale Sharks and Wasps also recorded victories. Harlequins and London Irish settled for a thrilling 27-27 draw at the Stoop but the game between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers was called-off due to Covid-19.
