TRU at The Virtual Rugby Show: Guy Thompson and Tom Cruse on grassroots rugby

On Saturday 27th June, TRU featured at The Virtual Rugby Show and Chris Heal was joined by Guy Thompson and Tom Cruse to get their thoughts on the values of grassroots rugby.

The duo, who spent two years together at Wasps, discussed their respective routes to the top and how the lower levels of the game played a crucial part in their development.

Cruse plied his trade for Stockport before moving up the rugby ladder whilst Thompson enjoyed spells with Richmond and Jersey before making the step into the Premiership.
