Rugby Rumours: O'Conner's exit, Goosen's return, Plisson pushed and Gray brothers

O'Conner's exit:

Former Aussie international James O'Connor was charged with possession of cocaine last month.

Toulon are expected to take a firm stance on this in the disciplinary hearing on the 29th March... with Worcester likely to benefit from his early exit.

Goosen's return:

After the South African scrum-half's shock retirement from the game left him in spot of bother with his Racing 92 club.

If Johan Goosen wants to play professional rugby again, then it would have to start where he left off, in the Top 14 with Racing...

Plisson pushed:

It has recently been reported that the Stade Francias outfit have gone on strike in protest over their planned merger with their Top 14 rivals, Racing 92.

Jules Plisson is in the middle of this turmoil, looking for a way out, which could come in the form of Northampton Saints (if this mini confederation goes ahead).

Gray brothers:

Both Jonny and Richie Gray are in fine form for their country in the Six Nations, but it looks like the Toulouse are hunting down younger brother Jonny.

With whispers of Yoann Maestri leaving the club, the Toulousain outfit are keen to replace him. With their sights set on uniting the Scottish duo overseas.
