The Lions have appointed fullback Quan Horn as captain for the Currie Cup Final against Griquas at Ellis Park.
He steps in after regular skipper PJ Botha was ruled out through injury. Prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye will serve as his deputy.
Franco Marais returns from injury to start at hooker in place of Botha. Ntlabakanye is also restored to the starting front row, with RF Schoeman shifting to the bench. The rest of the matchday 23 is unchanged from the side that beat Boland in the semi-final.
The Lions are seeking their first Currie Cup crown since 2015.
