Nemani Nadolo scored a hat-trick as Fiji came up with a six-try performance to beat Georgia 24-38 and seal a seventh place finish in the Autumn Nations Cup.

The South Pacific side endured a tough time in the tournament after all their league games was cancelled due to a Covid-19 outbreak but showed a glimpse of their ability.

A combination of Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra provided the platform for Nadolo as he scored inside two minutes. Ben Volavola missed the conversion but ensured he added the extras in the try from Johnny Dyer in the sixth minute making the scoreline 0-12 inside the opening 10 minutes.

The 11th minute saw Tedo Abzhandadze kick a penalty to get Georgia off the mark but they also lost Beka Gigashvili to injury.

Fiji continued to attack and eventually got their third try through Josua Tuisova Ratulevu and Volavola followed with the conversion to take the scoreline 3-19 before Georgia reduced the arrears with Giorgi Melikidze crossed over followed by Abzhandadze's conversion.

Fiji once again were the dominant in the initial stages of second half as Tuisova breached the defence of Georgia before Mesulame Kunavula touched down. With Nadolo scoring two more tries that saw them complete a hat-trick, Fiji had a 38-10 lead before Beka Saginadze went over the line a couple of tries in the final 15 minutes to help Georgia reduce their losing margin.
