Gloucester Rugby have confirmed that back-row forward Jack Clement has signed a new contract extension.
The Cheltenham College graduate made his senior debut during the 2019–20 season and has since established himself as a reliable and versatile option across the back row.
At just 24 years of age, Clement has already surpassed 100 appearances for the Cherry and Whites, highlighting his durability and importance to the squad over several campaigns.
Clement enjoyed a breakthrough season during Gloucester’s centenary campaign in 2023–24, where his consistent performances were recognised with both the Coaches’ Young Player of the Season and the Supporters’ Young Player of the Season awards.
After an injury-disrupted spell earlier this season, Clement has returned to action and featured in six matches, continuing to play a meaningful role within the squad.
Clement said re-signing was an easy decision, praising the environment at Gloucester and expressing confidence that the squad can progress and create memorable moments in the seasons ahead.
“It was a really easy decision for me to re-sign at Kingsholm.
“We have a great group of players, coaches and staff here, and while we haven’t quite been where we wanted to be this season, I know we have the potential to kick on and create some special memories.
“I’ve loved every minute of my time in Cherry & White, and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
