In preparation for the upcoming 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup, Ireland's women's rugby team has scheduled two significant home fixtures.

The team will face Scotland on August 2nd at Virgin Media Park in Cork, followed by a match against Canada on August 9th at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.

These matches are designed to serve as pivotal components of Ireland's pre-tournament preparations. Head coach Scott Bemand emphasized the importance of these games, stating they will help put the squad "in the best possible shape for the tournament."

The team is set to commence an intensive training camp at the IRFU High-Performance Centre in June, focusing on building cohesion and refining strategies.

The forthcoming tests against Scotland and Canada will provide the squad with valuable opportunities to implement their preparations in competitive settings.

Ireland's World Cup campaign is scheduled to begin against Japan at Franklin's Gardens on Sunday, August 24th.
