Leicester Tigers have confirmed that outside back Harry Potter will be leaving the club with immediate effect.

Potter started his career with New South Wales Country Eagles and represented Melbourne Rising and Melbourne Rebels before moving to Leicester Tigers in 2020.

Since joining the Tigers, he has represented them in 67 games and started in their Premiership final win against Saracens last season. He has left the club early on mutual consent and is now linked with Super Rugby side Western Force.

“I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of this club for the past three years and to have shared in spectacular memories with everyone involved at Leicester Tigers.”

“What this club has given me is far more than I could have ever imagined, not to mention winning a Premiership.

“I owe the coaches a huge thank you, to be at the club while Tigers rose back to the top is so much down to them and I thank them for their mentorship and relentless hard work, in particular Steve for having faith and giving me the opportunity and helping shape the player I now am."

Leicester Tigers suffered a 13-21 defeat in the semi-final of this season's Gallagher Premiership against Sale Sharks after finishing third in the league table.
