France fullback Benjamin Fall will be available for the third and final Test against New Zealand in Dunedin after his red-card was rescinded by World Rugby.

The 29-year-old was sent-off by Australian referee Angus Gardiner in the 12th minute of the second Test between the two teams at Westpac Stadium last weekend following a dangerous tackle on All Blacks fly-half Beauden Barrett, who left the field immediately and is also ruled out of the final game.

A statement released by World Rugby revealed that Fall's eyes were on the ball and his collision with Barrett was not intentional.

"This collision then causes the player to lose his balance, stumble and be propelled or pushed towards the path of (Barrett)," World Rugby said in a statement.

"By reason of those matters the player's attempt to contest the ball was compromised."

The decision proved costly for France as they had to take on the World Champions with one man down for the most part of the game that resulted in a 26-13 defeat.
