Exeter Chiefs have announced that prop Patrick Schickerling will be leaving the club at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Having started his career with Namibia Under 18 and Under 20 sides, Schickerling was scouted by Exeter and went on to make his club debut against Harlequins in the Premiership Rugby Cup in 2019.
He spent time on loan at Chinnor R.F.C. and Guernsey RFC, as well as at Championship side Cornish Pirates and went on to represent Exeter Chiefs in 37 games scoring seven tries.
The 25-year-old will be linking up with Glasgow Warriors ahead of the 2024/25 season.
“I will forever be grateful for the opportunities Exeter Chiefs have given me over the last five years," he told the club's official website.
I have learned so much throughout my time here, with so many memorable moments – the double winning year, our Premiership Cup last year, to being named in the England squad to tour Australia.
“I want to thank the fans who have been so great to me as well as all of the staff, coaches and players who make the club the place it is.
“In the meantime, I am looking forward to finishing this exciting season off with some success.”
