England Women hand Winger Pearce first start against Wales

England Women's head coach Simon Middleton has handed starts to Charlotte Pearce and Amy Cokayne for the upcoming Women's Six Nations Championship game against Wales scheduled to take place at Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday.

Pearce, who made her England debut against Italy off the bench last weekend will make her first start while Danielle Waterman has been moved to full-back from wing. Ellie Kildunne has been moved to outside centre from full-back and Lagi Tuima has been drafted on to the bench.

England occupy the pole position in the Championship table after they trounced Italy 7-42 in the opening game riding on a hat-trick from Sarah Hunter.

England women's team to face Wales: Waterman; Dow, Kildunne, Burford, Pearce; Daley-Mclean, Riley; Clarke, Cokayne, Bern, Scott, Taylor, Cleall, Packer, Hunter (capt).

Replacements: Davies, Cornborough, Lucas, Burnfield, Noel-Smith, Mattinson, Harrison, Tuima.
