Canterbury has unveiled the first release of its Autumn/Winter 2026 boot collection, headlined by the new Speed Falcon 2.0 featuring the brand’s Flightframe technology.
Billed as Canterbury’s lightest rugby boot to date, the Speed Falcon 2.0 is designed to enhance acceleration and agility. Key features include a stiffened Flightframe forefoot for improved energy transfer, a stud configuration inspired by elite sprint spikes, and a 7mm heel lift intended to boost stability while reducing lower-limb strain.
The range comprises three models tailored to different positions. The Speed Falcon 2.0 (£160) is aimed at backs and wings, while the Phoenix (£160) is designed for centres and back-row forwards, offering additional protection and power. Front-row players are catered for by the Stampede (£160), which features a wider, more stable fit and enhanced traction for scrummaging and breakdown work.
Canterbury has also introduced its first boot guarantee. Customers who register eligible boots within 30 days of purchase will receive 12 months of cover against manufacturing faults and unexpected breakage, subject to the scheme’s terms and conditions.
Simon Rowe, Senior Vice President for EMEA and North America at Canterbury, said the new Flightframe outsole technology draws inspiration from elite sprint spikes, helping to reduce weight while maintaining the forefoot strength and stability required in rugby.
The new collection is available now through Canterbury’s official channels.
