Bath Rugby have announced the signing of former St Helens rugby league wing Regan Grace until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Grace played for St Helens between 2016 and 2022 featuring 143 times for them scoring 89 tries while also representing Wales on six occasions.

The 27-year-old switched code to rugby union despite suffering a career-threatening Achilles injury in 2022 and joined Racing 92 in 2023. He did not feature in any games for the French side before having a relapse of the injury in February last year.

He initially joined Bath Rugby in February during the pre-season friendlies against Gloucester Rugby and Leinster and now will sign a deal that includes the option of him staying for the 2025-26 season.

“Regan has impressed both on and off the pitch over the last few months," said Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan.

"He has a clear point of difference in his play and that will be very valuable for our team.

"It’s great to have Regan on board.”

Bath are positioned second in the Gallagher Premiership table with nine wins from 15 matches.
