Ospreys 16 - 21 Munster, Swansea

Munster managed to maintain their unbeaten streak in the ongoing season of Pro 14 as they overcame Ospreys with a 16-21 triumph in their Pro 14 clash in Swansea.

Ospreys were forced to bring Dan Lydiate, who was recovering from a shoulder injury after James Kings was ruled out of the game due to illness while Dan Biggar was named among the replacements - his first game this season since the British and Irish Lions tour of New Zealand.

Tyler Bleyendaal opened Munster's account with a ninth minute penalty but two minutes later James Hook crossed over and
Sam Davies slotted the extras to bring Ospreys back into the lead.

However, it was Munster, who ended the first half strong with touchdowns from Jean Kleyn and Darren Sweetnam as they headed into half time with a 7-15 lead.

Even though Davies kicked a penalty at the start of the second half to bring down the gap to five points, Bleyendaal negated his efforts with a three pointer of his own seven minutes later.

The game was heading for a tight finish when Davies kicked two penalties as the scoreline was 16-18 in favour of Munster but the Irish side held their nerve with stern defence and Bleyendaal's third penalty that came in the 76th minute ensured they completed a five point victory.

Munster with the win maintain their position at the top of Conference A while Ospreys are at fourth.
