Worcester Warriors have confirmed 15 players including fly-half Tom Heathcote will be leaving the club ahead of the upcoming season.

Heathcote joined Worcester Warriors in 2015 from Edinburgh and has made 34 appearances since then. Having suffered a series of concussion in the last 18 months and with Duncan Weir and Jono Lance set to join the Sixways outfit next season, director of rugby Alan Solomons has decided to leave the 26-year-old out.

Apart from Heathcote, hooker Kurt Haupt and scrum-half Grayson Hart exit the club at the completion of their short-term contract while Dorian Jones has returned back to Dragons following the loan period.

David Denton and Will Spencer are also among the other players to depart the club after a disappointing season that saw them finish 11th with seven wins from 22 games.

“I’d like to go on record and thank the following players for their efforts at the club and wish them the best of the luck in their future endeavours," said Solomons.

Players leaving Worcester Warriors:

Biyi Alo (Soyaux Angouleme), David Denton (Leicester Tigers), Michael Dowsett (Japan Top League), Andrew Durutalo (Ealing Trailfinders), Grayson Hart, Kurt Haupt, Tom Heathcote, Ben Howard, Dorian Jones (Dragons), Donncha O’Callaghan (Retired), Sam Olver (Ealing Trailfinders), Will Spencer (Leicester Tigers), Max Stelling, Huw Taylor (Dragons), Jackson Willison (Bath).
