Wales head coach Warren Gatland has recalled hooker Scott Baldwin in the Six Nations squad ahead of the tournament opener against Ireland on 4th February at Principality Stadium.

Baldwin made his Wales debut in 2013 and has 34 caps to his name with his last appearance coming during June 2017.

He will provide injury cover to Dewi Lake with the latter sidelined with a knee injury that he sustained during Ospreys' Heineken Champions Cup game against Leicester Tigers.

Wales already have the services of Ken Owens, and Bradley Roberts for the number two jersey while Ryan Elias is also ruled out with an achilles problem.

Following the game against Ireland, Wales will be facing Scotland in the second round followed by clashes against England, Italy and France.
