Victor Delmas to join Bath after early release from Colomiers

Bath Rugby have confirmed that Colomiers prop Victor Delmas will join the Aviva Premiership club with immediate effect.

The 26-year-old was due to join the Recreation Ground outfit at the end of the ongoing season but now has been granted an early release by Colomiers.

"Recent injuries have left us short at tighthead, so we're fortunate to have the opportunity to bring him in," director of rugby Todd Blackadder said.

"He not only gives us another option for the run-in, but it will give us an extra few months to integrate him."

Bath are currently positioned eighth in the Aviva Premiership table with nine victories from 18 matches.
