Munster 28 - 14 Edinburgh

Conor Murray scored a double as Munster ran four tries against Edinburgh at Thomond Park to secure a 28-14 victory during the 2016-17 Pro12 clash on Saturday.

Murray scored twice in the first half with fly-half Tyler Bleyendaal successfully converting both as the visitors in response managed to score just one. Scottish centre Chris Dean did the honor of scoring the first try of the match on the 22nd minute with fly-half Duncan Weir successfully managing to add the extras.

Immediately after the start of the second-half, replacement flanker Conor Oliver scored a try for the hosts on the 41st minute. Bleyendaal added the extras.

Dave O'Callaghan's 56th minute converted try further extended the lead for the Irish side to 21 points.

In response, Edinburgh added seven more points to their tally with a converted try from John Hardie on the 66th minute. However, the visitors failed to add any more points to their tally, thus succumbing to a 14-point defeat.

This is the third win for coach Rassie Erasmus' Munster as they are positioned fifth below Leinster Rugby with both teams accumulating 14 points so far from four matches.
