Munster 23 - 24 Cardiff Blues, Cork

The Blues edged past Munster by a single point to secure a 23-24 closely fought win at the Irish Independent Park during the Pro12 clash on Friday.

Wing Tom James scored a double, while fullback Dan Fish scored the game-changing 67th minute try for the visitors.

Fly-half Gareth Anscombe converted both the James' tries in addition to scoring a penalty in the 14th minute. His 66th minute replacement Steve Shingler scored the crucial 68th minute conversion to give his side a healthy four-point lead.

However, Munster fly-half Ian Keatley's 71st minute penalty brought the hosts back into the game, only for the visitors to holding onto their nerves in the final moment while clinging on to the single-point lead.

Keatley scored 13 points off the tee which included three penalties and a couple of conversions.

The hosts, however failed to match their rivals in try tally after managing to score just two with fullback Andrew Conway and replacement prop Dave Kilcoyne doing the honors of crossing over the try line.

This win makes it two-in-two for Cardiff, who now provisionally lead the table with nine points.
