Munster 39 - 16 Cardiff Blues, Limerick

JJ Hanrahan scored a double as Munster completed a 39-16 bonus point victory over Cardiff Blues in their Pro 14 encounter in Limerick on Saturday.

Scrum-half Conor Murray (12') along with a conversion and a double penalty from Ian Keatley helped the Irish provincial side reach 13 points in the first half but the Blues had a fabulous first 40 minutes as well with Josh Turnbull crossing over in the 23rd minute while Jarrod Evans slotted three penalties and a conversion to provide them a slender three point lead at half time.

Cardiff Blues' momentum was hampered by a sin-bin to Taufa'ao Filise as they failed to add any more points in the second half.

John Ryan (51'), Hanrahan (55' and 71') and Robin Copeland (67') scored further tries to help them attain a bonus point with Keatley converting three tries as Munster completed a 23 point victory that saw them retain the second position in Conference A while the Blues languish at the bottom of the table after suffering their fourth defeat in five games.
