Dragons 29 - 13 Southern Kings, Newport

Hallam Amos and Elliott Dee scored doubles each as Dragons completed a 29-13 bonus point victory in their Pro 14 clash in Newport on Saturday.

Pieter-Steyn de Wet got Southern Kings off the mark with a third minute penalty but Dragons made a strong comeback when Amos scored two tries in the fifth and 36th minutes while Dee went past the line in the 32nd minute.

Fly-half Gavin Henson also contributed with two conversions and a penalty to ensure the home side had a lead of 22-6 at half time.

Dee extended the momentum the Dragons gained in the first half with an early second half try as their lead increased to 23 points.

Flanker Anidisa Ntsila helped Kings make a brief comeback when he went past the line in the 59th minute to bring down the gap to 16 points.

However, despite losing Leon Brown and Thomas Davies to sin-bins in the 68th and 75th minutes, Dragons managed to hold on to their lead as they completed a 29-13 victory.

Dragons are currently positioned fifth in Conference B while Southern Kings continue to languish at the bottom of the table after losing all their five games in their debut season in Pro 14.
