England coach Eddie Jones has named four uncapped players in the starting line-up for the first Test against Argentina that kicks-off on Saturday.

Exeter's Harry Williams, Newcastle's Mark Wilson, Sale Sharks' Tom Curry and Saracens' Alex Lozowski are all named in the XV while seven other uncapped players including rugby league convert Denny Solomona, who has made a successful recovery from a foot injury are among the replacements.

Jones expressed full confidence on the youngsters to grab their opportunities on Saturday in the absence of front-line players.

"I have selected a group of experienced players across the spine of this team as well as four young players who will be eager to go out and play well on their debuts for England," said Jones.

"Those players have worked extremely hard to get selected over the past few weeks, but I have been impressed with the way the whole squad has trained and gelled together in a short amount of time.

"They all realise the opportunity that they have to be involved in this England side and I'm sure they will show that commitment on Saturday."
