Cardiff prop Corey Domachowski has extended his stay at the club after signing a new contract.

He follows the likes of Theo Cabango, Ben Thomas and Teddy Williams in the recent players to sign contract extension with the club.

The 26-year-old made his senior debut with the club in 2016 and has featured in 101 matches until now. He started the last five games of the season and was included in the World Cup training squad.

“It’s nice to extend my stay. Cardiff is all I’ve known at the moment and I still feel like I have some unfinished business so I’m happy," he told the club's official website.

“It makes things better when you are playing week in, week out. I didn’t get the start to the season that I wanted but the season ended in a good way.

“Both Rhys (Carré) and I both want that starting jersey but I’ve managed to keep it towards the end of the season. We are always on each other’s backs, trying to get the best out of each other. Healthy competition is good for everyone and that’s driving us on.

“It was great to finish the season on a high against the Ospreys and hopefully next season we can continue to improve as a group.”
