Scorecard

Cory Allen's double sealed successive win for the Blues as they overcame Pau's challenge by 27-12 at the BT Cardiff Arms Park during the 2016-17 European Rugby Challenge Cup pool stage clash on Friday.

The outside-centre scored two out of three Cardiff's tries with both coming in the second half on 50th and 61st minute.

However, it was left-wing Blaine Scully, who scored the first try for the hosts on the 3rd minute of the match to give them an early edge.

Fly-half Steve Shingler managed to successfully convert all three tries in addition to slotting a couple of penalties on 11th and 25th minute.

In response, number-5 lock Daniel Ramsay and inside-centre Pierre Dupouy scored tries for the visitors on 17th and 80th minute respectively.

Replacement scrum-half Thierry Lacrampe was able to slot the conversion for the second try whereas Ramsay's try remained unconverted.

With back-to-back victories, the Blues have climbed up to the top pedestal of the pool 4 points table with nine points from two matches.

Coach Danny Wilson's men will now host English Premiership side Bath, while Pau will travel to the Ashton Gate Stadium to face Bristol next weekend.
