Scotland fullback Chloe Rollie will miss her side's last round Women's Six Nations game against Ireland following a three-game suspension.

Rollie was initially sin-binned during the closing stage of the encounter against Italy for a dangerous tackle which was later upgraded to a red card.

She faced an independent Disciplinary Committee that was chaired by Richard Cole (Wales), joined by former international referee Valeriu Toma (Romania) and former international player Stefan Terblanche (South Africa).

The panel deemed Rollie's action warranted a red card and was initially handed a six-week suspension that was reduced by half taking into account various mitigating factors.

She will now miss the final game of the tournament against Ireland along with Loughborough Lightning matches against Gloucester-Hartpury and Harlequins.

Scotland are positioned third in the Women's Six Nations table with two wins from four matches.
