The difference further came down to five points as Hodge kicked his fourth three pointer at the start of the second half but Scott Higginbotham secured the bonus point with for Reds with a 48th minute cross over.

Just as the game was running away from Rebels, Will Miller and Marika Koroibete scored tries to level the scores 24-24.

As the game was heading for a tight finish with all three results possible, Kerevi just swung the result in favour of Reds with his second try that came in the 78th minute. Reds are second in Australian Conference while Rebels languish at the bottom.
