Uncapped Exeter Chiefs fullback Phil Dollman has been included in Wales squad for the upcoming summer tour that includes Tests against Tonga and Samoa.

Dollman joined the Sandy Park outfit from Newport Gwent Dragons in 2009 and has racked up over 150 appearances for the Aviva Premiership outfit. He will also be part of the Exeter squad that will take on Wasps in the Aviva Premiership final next weekend and will replace injured Rhun Williams in the Wales squad.

Scarlets back-row Aaron Shingler has already featured in eight Tests for Wales but his last appearance came way back in June 2014. He will also be seen in action for his club Scarlets during the Pro 12 final.

"The two players coming in have been in excellent form lately and we're looking for them to bring that level of performance with them," said Robin McBryde, who will be in charge of Wales side in the absence of Warren Gatland and Rob Howley.

"They'll be arriving with their tails up having made it to those finals, so it should be a boost for them as well as us."

Shingler's inclusion came after an injury to Ospreys' James King.

"You have to account for injuries in this game - especially at this stage of the season - so we're not shocked when these things happen," McBryde added.

"It's a big blow for the players who are missing out but for someone like Rhun, who's only 19 years old, he's got plenty of time to make his mark with Wales."
