Northampton Saints have announced the signing of England international Curtis Langdon ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Langdon a product of London Irish Academy, made his professional rugby debut with the Exiles in 2015 but spent most of his career with Sale Sharks after making 89 appearances for them scoring 14 tries.

He switched to Worcester into 2022 but later joined French club Montpellier for the remainder of the ongoing season after the Warriors entered into administration.

The 25-year-old made his England debut in 2021 and has two international appearances that came against USA and Canada.

Langdon is delighted to be back in the Premiership after a tough outing with Worcester and is hoping to resume his international career with England as well.

“I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to return to the Premiership, and thrilled to do it at a massive Club in Northampton Saints.

“Saints have a young and exciting squad, full of internationals and English players, which I’m eager to be a part of. I hope I can add some value to the group and help to drive the Club forwards.

“I’ve always enjoyed playing at Franklin’s Gardens too; the atmosphere around the ground is fantastic on matchday and it’s a great pitch to play on.

“Putting my hand up for England selection again was definitely part of the decision to come to Northampton. I want to do everything I can to play well and help Saints first and foremost, but if that goes to plan, I’d love to get another opportunity at international level.”
