Louis Schreuder signs new contract with Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby have announced that scrum-half Louis Schreuder has signed a new contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Schreuder joined Bath Rugby in 2022 and has featured for the club in 30 matches. His contract was set to expire at the end of the ongoing season but now has signed a one-year contract extension.

“I’m thrilled to have signed a new contract with Bath Rugby. I’ve loved every moment of my journey with the club so far," he told the club's official website.

I’m surrounded by an amazing coaching team, staff and teammates, and our fans are the best. I am looking forward to seeing what the next year will bring.”

The 33-year-old also had represented Western Province, Stormers, Kubota Spears, Southern Kings, Sharks, Toulon and Newcastle Falcons in the past. He also made a solitary Test appearance for South Africa in 2017.

Bath Head of Rugby Johann van Graan is delighted with Schreuder remaining with the club for another season.
