Bath prop Archie Griffin signs three-year contract extension

Bath Rugby have announced that prop Archie Griffin has signed a new long-term contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Griffin , a product of Bath Academy, made his senior debut with the club in 2022 and he will now follow the likes of Will Stewart, Will Muir, Max Ojomah and Cameron Redpath in the players committing their future with the club in recent times.

The 22-year-old, who had a brief stint with Richmond last year has made eight appearances with the club till date.

“This is a very special moment for me and my family and friends," he told the club's official website.

"Having come through the Academy here at Bath Rugby to now, the club has made me feel at home since day one and I really can’t wait to see what the future holds.

"I believe we are creating something amazing here and I’m excited to have the opportunity to be a part of that.”

After representing Wales Under 20 side in 2020, Griffin has been added to the Six Nations squad for the upcoming campaign.

Bath are positioned third in the Gallagher Premiership table with seven wins from 12 matches.
