Saracens have announced the signing of full-back Tom Parton from Gallagher Premiership rivals ahead of the 2023/24 season.

A product of the London Irish Academy, Parton made his senior debut with the club in 2018 and has gone on to make over 50 appearances for them.

He was also called up to the England training squad ahead of their summer tour of Australia in July.

“I’m really excited for this new challenge. To be joining a club like Saracens is an honour and privilege," he told the club's official website.

"To learn off the best players in the world is an opportunity I can’t wait to get stuck into, and I look forward to playing in front of such a great fan base.”

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is looking forward to have Parton in the squad next season.

“Tom is a player that we have admired over recent years and we are delighted that he will be joining us.

He is a very smart player who has excelled with London Irish and we believe he will continue to go from strength to strength over the coming years.”
