Robin Hislop makes Saracens return

Saracens have announced the signing of prop Robin Hislop on a short-term contract.

Hislop already played for Saracens on loan in 2020 but now will head to StoneX Stadium after Wasps went into administration earlier this month following financial issues.

The 30-year-old also represented Edinburgh, Rotherham, Doncaster Knights in the past.

“I’m delighted to be coming back to Sarries. It’s a great club, with a big focus on making people better. I’m excited to get started and fly into it.”

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is delighted with Hislop making a return to the club.

“Firstly, of course we are all very sad to see what has happened at Wasps and we wish everyone there all the best.

"Robin is well respected within our group from his previous short spell with us and his game has gone to a new level over the last few seasons. We are all looking forward to working with him again.”

Saracens are currently are at the top of the Gallagher Premiership table with six wins from as many games.
