London Irish have announced the signing of former Scotland under-20s international outside back Logan Trotter along with Edinburgh duo Patrick Harrison and Jamie Jack.

A product of the Glasgow Academy, Trotter represented Scotland Under 20 Under-20 Six Nations and Junior World Championship in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He impressed for the Exiles during the pre-season and now joins as an injury cover.

“On behalf of all at London Irish, I’d like to welcome Logan to the Club as he takes a deserved place in our senior squad," said director of rugby Declan Kidney.

“Logan has shown glimpses of some really exciting traits that I believe will serve him well amongst our playing roster here at London Irish.”

Meanwhile, Harrison and Jack have joined the club on a short-term deal with immediate effects.

Harrison made his debut for Edinburgh at the age of 18 and has made four appearances for them while Jack joined Edinburgh Rugby from Championship side Ampthill Rugby towards the end of the 2021/22 season.
