Harlequins have announced the signing of scrum-half Max Green on a short-term deal ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Green made his professional rugby debut with Yorkshire Carnegie in 2015 and made a switch to Bath Rugby in 2017.

A former England Under 20 international, the 27-year-old has gone on to make 33 first team appearance for the Recreation Ground based club and also had loan stints with Jersey Reds in the 2020/21 and Bristol Bears in 2021/22 seasons.

“I’m very happy to have this opportunity with Harlequins. I love the style of rugby Quins play and I’m excited to make a strong impact," he told the club's official website.

Meanwhile, Director of Rugby Billy Millard believes Green's addition will add more depth to the squad.

“Max has been with us over preseason and has impressed. He’s an experienced scrum-half who will add good depth to our squad.”
