Harlequins forward Matthew Luamanu is in danger of facing another ban after he was cited for a dangerous tackle during last weekend's Anglo Welsh Cup encounter against Exeter.

The 27-year-old was sin-binned in the first half of the game for performing a high tackle on Exeter fly-half Will Hooley and now will appear in front of a three-person Rugby Football Union panel on Tuesday.

It was only last month, the former Benetton Treviso forward was suspended for three weeks after he tackled Sale Sharks number eight Josh Beaumont during their Aviva Premiership encounter at AJ Bell Stadium that resulted in a concussion and was also red carded for the offence.
